Hi, I'm Ash Hong, a dad, marketer, and occasional writer based in Malaysia. I write here mainly to organise my thoughts and ideas around life, parenting, career, growth, and other topics that pique my interest. I also write to bore my kids with reading material in case I die early. Nobody asked, but my brand of humour is dry + dad jokes.

Professionally, I've spent my career building brands and businesses, from starting a small marketing agency to running luxury alcohol brand activations (hyping debauched free flow parties featuring Grammy-nominated artists). Currently, I run marketing for one of the world’s most watched mobile esports leagues.

I also enjoy competitive sports and can be mildly obsessive. I've had 4 Muay Thai fights (4-0) and my proudest life achievement is breaking into the top 70 of the International Table Soccer Federation’s men's world ranking back in 2013. I'm joking, my proudest achievements are my kids.

I enjoy conversations with fellow marketers, entrepreneurs, struggling parents of demon possessed toddlers, students and young professionals.
